another cultural landslide
another cultural landslide (acl) used to be the instrumentals-only identity of our two band identities - but this year, we decided we're just... another cultural landslide. and that's all there is to it... so, for this year's rpm: acl does vocals. go figure. besides, another cultural landslide is a name that pretty accurately describes how we approach music - we're all over the place, and that's how we like it. no genre definitions. no limitations. we also try not to sound the same from one thing to the next. pretty things, soft things, loud things, odd things. just know that whatever we decide to do - it'll be, uhh, different. so, if you like what you hear, come visit us at www.alonetone.com/anotherculturallandslide where you'll find many other nifty things as well... and we thank you for listening. p.s. mzkitty sez hi
kirk & wendy. wendy & kirk. we're interchangeable. instruments: anything that makes a musical noise. if it doesn't make a musical noise... well, we'll play that too. oh... and lots & lots of knob twiddling.
"great songs of an OTHER category!" well, that quote was here when we got here... go figure

hey... that's not a tootsieŽ roll...(2009)
another new year, another new direction - another cultural landslide. this is our rpm '09 offering... and this year we really mean it when we say "no genre definitions... no limitations - and no two cuts the same..." thank you for listening
the "last days last days" demos(2010)
Each year we've done RPM, we've challenged ourselves to not only do the regular challenge, but to go places & try things we never imagined doing before... This year proved to be a totally different challenge for us: time itself. Due to an absolutely insane February (work-wise), we decided we'd attempt to write & record an album of rough demos that we could then redo in March & early April... And we actually got it done. (Shocking.) We're posting three of these demos here; they're rough - but they're, umm, definitely acl. ;) (We hope you enjoy them!) And now work REALLY starts...
